James Conrad

Vice President of Technology

Jim Conrad leads the company’s global technology team, which includes product management and service. With a deep understanding of refractories, he plays a critical role in expanding and strengthening the company’s product line offerings to provide customers with consistent and reliable solutions.

Prior to his current position, Jim led both FRC Global’s sales and product management functions. Jim joined the company in 1998 as a product manager and has grown with the business, taking on increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing, and product leadership. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for his expertise in refractories, which has contributed to product development, research, marketing, and sales strategies that help drive business growth.

Jim has nearly 40 years of experience in the refractories industry with roles across multiple facets of the business. His knowledge has been instrumental in positioning FRC Global as a trusted industry partner.

Outside of work, Jim has a passion for classic cars and can often be found cruising the hills of Pennsylvania in a vintage muscle car.
