Germain Rengifo Torres
Director of Latin American Sales
Leadership Team Member
Germain Rengifo Torres serves as director of sales for Latin America, where he has played a pivotal role in building and supporting a highly successful team in the region.
Germain joined Fedmet in 1996 as a business and marketing strategist. Germain has spent his entire career in the steel industry and, as one of FRC Global’s longest-tenured team members, he has been instrumental in shaping the company and establishing its reputation as a quality supplier.
Germain holds a degree in international business from McGill University and has also completed an intensive CAD design technology course at Champlain College.
Outside of work, Germain enjoys spending time with his family, listening to good music, and enjoying great food.
Fabián Alvarán Rengifo
Support Engineer, Colombia and Ecuador
Fabián is a Support Engineer at FRC Global, where he provides technical expertise in electric arc furnace (EAF) regulation and refractory systems throughout Colombia and Ecuador. He plays a key role in the successful implementation, assembly, and maintenance of refractory projects and supports testing and evaluation of new materials for clients across the region.
Prior to joining FRC Global, Fabián worked with companies such as SIDOC, where he led high-complexity projects that improved process efficiency and optimized operations. He brings seven years of hands-on experience in the metallurgical industry with a specialization in refractories, electrodes, and EAF systems.
Fabián holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. He has furthered his expertise with specialized training in metallurgy and refractory materials through the Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia and SIDOC.
Hector Jesus Delgado Acosta
Sales and Service Lead
Jesus serves as the Sales and Service Lead for South America at FRC Global. With 18 years of experience in the steel and metals industry, he is responsible for supporting clients across the region, expanding into new markets, and overseeing the successful implementation of FRC products and services. His technical expertise spans electric furnaces, secondary metallurgy, and metallic area optimization, making him a trusted advisor to customers across South America.
Prior to joining FRC Global, Jesus held roles at Aceros Arequipa, Simec Republic Steel, and Nexa Zinc Foundry. His positions ranged from Shift Supervisor to Plant Manager, where he led teams and drove improvements in process efficiency, safety, and production outcomes.
Jesus earned a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National University of San Agustin (UNSA) and holds a Diploma in Production Management from the Industrial Development Center of the National Society of Industries. He has continued developing his expertise through industry courses and conferences, including the Blast Furnace Course at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
Outside of work, Jesus enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to explore new cultures, and listening to music.
Hugo Alejandro Galvis Ardila
Product Manager, Lead, Latin America
Hugo serves as Product Manager for Lead at FRC Global, where he supports refractory sales and product introductions for lead recycling operations across Latin America. With over 36 years of experience in the steel and recycling industries, Hugo brings deep technical knowledge and a proven ability to lead complex industrial projects, including process optimization and equipment commissioning.
Before joining FRC Global, Hugo spent 19 years in the steel industry and 17 years in lead recycling. He held leadership positions such as Superintendent of Electric Steelmaking and Production Superintendent at Siderúrgica del Pacífico, where he oversaw electric furnace operations and continuous casting processes. In the lead industry, Hugo worked as a recycling plant manager at Clarios.
He holds a degree in metallurgical engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander and has completed specialized training in steel plant automation, rolling mill modernization, and finishing processes.
Outside of work, Hugo enjoys spending quality time with his family and values those moments of connection and support.
Luisa Fernanda Rodríguez Hernández
Colombia & Ecuador Sales
Luisa serves as the Regional Sales Lead for Colombia at FRC Global, based in Cali. She is responsible for supporting customers across Colombia and Ecuador, strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and increasing sales with existing accounts. Her focus areas include refractory materials and graphite electrodes, where she provides solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
She joined FRC Global with over a decade of experience in the metallurgical industry, bringing a strong background in sales and logistics. Her previous roles have equipped her with a deep understanding of the steel market and the adaptability needed to succeed in a dynamic environment.
Before joining FRC Global, Luisa held key commercial and logistical roles in the metals sector. She holds a degree in Marketing and Business with a specialization in Finance.
Luisa has led notable projects such as the import and installation of the TKE-HTT ladle heating system at Siderúrgica del Occidente, as well as the repair of blast furnaces in Colombia. Her strategic approach and dedication to client service consistently deliver impactful results.
